Aside from the usual, ie: get in shape, lose weight, and eat better. I want to take more pride in my personal appearance. As I am about to enter into the last year of my 20’s, I thin it’s high time I start to dress like an adult. Instead of blowing $150 bucks on a bunch of ill-fitting, poorly made Old Navy clothes. I’m going to actually buy clothes that are well made and classic looking.

Of course I type this as I wear a shirt at work that is beyond embarrassingly wrinkled…. must remember to hang this one up and not fold it. Also, must put on clothes more than three minutes before leaving the apartment.

But, I digress. I’ve already made some steps to having a more profesional looking wardrobe, but it still needs a lot of work. And instead of spending money on disposable clothes at ON and H&M, I’ll buy some tops and pants from Express, designer pieces from Marshall’s (seriously, they have good stuff if you look), boutique clothes from Francesca’s and basics from Target. Mossimo clothes last for like 5 years, I have tank tops that get worn every day and they look like new out of the dryer.

So this is the year Rachel Chernick stops buying crap clothes and starts to look like an adult! Of course this will come much later in the year, when my credit card is paid down!

Edit: Bought myself a pait of Express jeans for myself for my birthday. Not professional, but polished.
