Gorillaz perform one of my favorite tracks off of Plastic Beach, Glitter Freeze, live. I’m so glad they are finally showing the full band during performances. It’s amazing to see all the work and collaboration that goes into each song. Plus I really enjoy seeing half of The Clash rock out.

R.I.P. Harvey Pekar

If you have never had a chance to read his comic “American Splendor” I highly recommend checking it out. It’s a wonderfully cynical and honestly funny, autobiography of Pekar’s life in Cleveland. I also recommend seeing the movie of his life by the same name. He was truly a treasure in the graphic art world. Click through the image to read the A.V. Club article.
